Polk County Museum

Crummy collage, but we visited the Polk County Museum. President James Polk, the 11th president of the United States, designated the Oregon Territory, in 1847. Very complete and full museum. Life and times then were often so harsh, and even barbaric and backward. Hard to read of some of the lives that went down right here.
