Thank Gaudi
We didn’t get to the Boqueria Market with son no 3 last night as it shut at 8.30pm (found a tapas place nearby instead) so this morning Mr P and I had breakfast there, before heading to the Miró-Picasso exhibition. The Picasso Museum was nearby but the Miró Museum entailed a steep climb up to Montjuïc! It was worth the effort though as both exhibitions were excellent. We then met up with son no 3 for a visit to another food market (San Antoni) and lunch at an Argentinian restaurant. After lunch we visited his flat (surprisingly tidy). He went off to work and Mr P and I went on the Gaudí trail, to marvel at his amazing buildings. Surprisingly I bumped into someone I used to work with en route!
Back to our hotel to put our feet up, before we met up again with son no 3 for pasta and pizza in a nearby Italian restaurant. I think it’s likely to be our last meal outside for a while. Son no 3 then took us to PIaça Reial and we walked down La Rambla to the port. Tired now but glad that we made the most of our last day in Spain.
