Faded

Another day when I didn't take any photos so this rose came to the rescue. It was part of the lovely bunch I got over two weeks ago and although it's past its best it's still beautiful. The stem was broken so I cut it down and put it in a glass at the kitchen window and it's still there.

This afternoon I attended the stage 2 volunteer selection for next year's World Athletics Indoor Championships. If I'm selected I should find out what my role will be sometime in December.
