Safe Mallard

Some of the mallards in the boating lake  in Hall Leys Park in Matlock make the very sensible decision to rest / sleep on the bushes on the islands in the middle of the lake. This keeps them safe from disturbance and predators although it does look rather strange to see ducks perching on the sides of bushes!
