Backblip

We were woken up by the alarm on our phones at 4:30! Ohhhhh I could have just turned over and went back to sleep.

It was a balmy Morning . We checked out and walked the 10 mins to Placa Catalunya for the bus to T2 at the airport. There was taxis sitting at the hotel but €35 vs €13 for the bus there was no contest! Maybe if it had been teeming with rain but it was a lovely early morning at 5am.

There was a few people on the bus which takes 20mins.

Smoothly through security, picked up a bottle of wAtwr and plonked ourselves at area M, furthest away from where we entered. Wasn’t long before the gate was called and people started lining up. We just sat to the end not needing an overhead. Once on saw it was a quieter flight than going on and after they shut the doors quickly moved Ben to an empty row and he sat at window and me at aisle . He had a sleep, I watched something I had on my iPad. A wee bit of turbulence half way home but a smooth flight afterwards and arriving at Glasgow had a great view as we descended. Could see the frost on the ground.

Quite quickly through passport control and texted S to come now at the pick up point as he was sitting around 5 mins away till he heard we were coming out.

Bloody freezing-

Dropped Ben off at home and we had a chat with his mum and dad.

Went to Hinterland for food then home and went for a sleep and slept for 3 hours.

I had two bottles and a thick jumper on in bed!

What a great holiday

Things I learned about a teenage Ben. We walked past a smart tattoo shop and I said I fancied a small tattoo and he said he want one in his arm, not a big one though. Says that Cameron will probably get one as he’s a metal head Lol! He was enamoured with all the motorbikes sitting around and wants a bike when older !! Eeeek. He’s right into metal music which I absolutely hate! He’s good at directions and remembering the way. Good for him to learn negotiating a big city with buses etc. he’s tolerant of other people!
