The Eden

The Eden was in full flow today at Stenkrith Park. This is where the River Eden drops into a gorge known as Coopkarnel/Coop Kernan Hole (or the Devil’s Mustard Mill!) We stood on the Millennium bridge and gazed down at the rushing water forcing its way through a narrow slit.


There had been some things I needed for the lodge from our janitorial suppliers and, weather being reasonable I fancied a bit of a walk to improve my stamina. We didn't go far in the ravine and were lucky to get back to the car as the rain started.
