Rings (TT442)

If she were still with us, today would have been my mum's 95th birthday.
These are her engagement and wedding rings.

The engagement ring is from ~1947 so it can be excused looking a little battered.  The wedding ring is much later, the original having been cut off when she had a fall and her ring finger swelled up underneath it.

In a nerds delight moment I realised that since my laptop updated it's BIOS I can now reliably connect it to my camera and use Helicon Remote/Focus and Tethered capture ... which might keep me occupied for the winter :-)
