I need some hot stuff

It's been pouring with rain all day, except for about half an hour late this afternoon when I made a plan to do some dark evening photography at Leith docks. Then of course it started raining again, and since I am without car, or even car club car because there aren't any here, and since Leith is a fair trek there and back when you're getting soaked, I didn't go out.

The woodburner is nice though. Only the driest, longest seasoned* wood goes in it.

* pulled out of my log store after two or three years, usually once it's gone grey from the weather and the detritus left behind by several generations of spiders and snails.
