Soggy Carpet

After a very wet morning, it stayed dry just long enough this afternoon for me to spend half an hour continuing the leaf raking. In the front garden I was met by a very soggy carpet of Horse Chestnut leaves. The whole garden now squelches when you walk on it. Managed to ram some of the leaves in the green wheelie bin, the rest, along with all the leaves in the back garden, will have to wait until the bin has been emptied tomorrow.
