Market day

Sunday is market day in the little fishing village of Cabo de Palos.
In the absence of any daughters, my dear husband accompanied me round the stalls - on Father's Day too!
We bought shoes for him ( first - clever tactics!) a bag for me , fresh cherries at 3? for a kilo, a huge bunch of Lizianthus for 4?, a few little gifts for the girls and fresh prawns and a spit roasted chicken for dinner tonight!
Then we walked down to the harbour for a San Miguel & a light lunch and watched the divers and boats coming in and out.
A magical day so far with the US Open to watch tonight.

And to my beloved Dad who has been gone 11 years now, I still think of you every day X
