Well done!

This is so sweet. Went to Parkrun today and this lad had to step forward to collect the monthly prize which was a voucher for a free pair of running shoes. He comes every week, has done 3 PBs in the last month and his current PB stands at 24.36. He's only 9 years old. He was very shy in collecting his well deserved prize.

It's what I love about Parkrun - a national movement, entirely run by volunteers, to encourage people to run 5k every Saturday morning. There are now two Parkruns in Brighton and between them they attract upwards of 500 people every week.

It must have inspired me as I got a PB today too. Now all I have to do is catch that pesky 9 yr old...
