Paradise

Well, it has certainly been home now for 11 years. I find it hard to imagine a time when I wasn't living here.

In other news, I am having some injections in my spine next Tuesday to try to alleviate the sciatica that has been causing me so many problems since last April. They rang through with the appointment just now.

I don't hold out much hope however, as the doctor said when they made the decision to jab me, "They probably won't do any good, but what have you got to lose?"

Only the last three months when they could have been doing something else, like operating. But they have to do things in order, I suppose.

As always, we shall see.
