Western Approaches HQ
After a few jobs on the nursery and the predicted Storm Debbie not looking too bad we decided to head into Liverpool as tourists and visit some of the museums and art galleries.
Helen hadn't visited Western Approaches HQ so we thought we would do this first and then get some lunch. The section on the Arctic Convoys was fascinating and I had somehow completely missed it on my first visit.
Before leaving the nursery I had checked the weather forecast and decided to put some vent onto the greenhouses. On leaving the HQ we found that it was difficult to stand up in the wind so decided to head home and get the vents down.It was a good job we did it was howling. With the vents secured and a very late lunch and perhaps only an hours daylight left we decided to do the weekly shop.
Some bright spells and gale force winds.
