Chicks hatching

Terrible shot! Holding back angry mum and snapping in the dark after drinking gin it's no wonder. I just had to mark the arrival of these chicks. Mother hen had been trying to brood a golf ball! So I bought her some surrogate eggs. She has mothering skills of Olympic quality only leaving the nest under force twice a day to eat and drink.
