Surprise gift

Beautiful get well soon flowers left on the doorstep by a kind friend on his way to visit Dad.

Even though we’re only on the edge of Storm Debi, it’s been sooo windy here today, leaves flying everywhere. After spending several hours making various arrangements to extend Dad’s respite care, I fully intended to go out and rake up more leaves, but a surprise visit from a friend who called in to see how I was, and then having to wait in for the rescheduled arrival of an engineer to service the stairlift, meant that the leaves are still blowing around out there, along with the heavy rain. Hopefully they’ll been blown/washed away down the road!
