Man of the hour

I've not even finished the introduction of the book I bought on Thursday night and this chapter is already out of date but the news that led to it was welcome 

I worked most if the day finalising our grant application. My eyes were watering dealing with narrative boxes and spreadsheets but it's done now. Fingers crossed.

Earlier I'd swum, manage to make a new appointment with Octopus then watched the rain as I worked, made easier as G, the window cleaner came and did inside living room and kitchen windows  and all the outside. 

I did a few other bits and pieces but stopped by 4.30. I feel like I'm really beginning to need 'me' time.
