Village life

This is our village Post Office, the van visits twice a week for about one and a half hours. The staff are lovely, we’ve been managing like this for a number of years ever since our ‘proper’ Post Office closed it’s doors and was turned into a physiotherapists lounge. 

Today when I arrived I was seventh in the queue but was attended to fairly quickly. I’ve been very fortunate and never had to queue in inclement weather. I was sold a first class stamp for £1.25 as a 75p 2nd class may not arrive this week! So having made a substantial donation to Post Office profits I made my way home for coffee and cake.
