New windscreen

Last Tuesday I was shocked to see that a 35cm crack had suddenly appeared in my windscreen. I can only think that it was the delayed result of a pebble hitting the windscreen several weeks ago.

I was delighted to hear from my car insurers (the AA) that the repair could be done at home (even though "home" isn't home at the moment!) and an appointment was made for today.

Fortunately the heavy rain this morning cleared up, so this chap turned up on time and worked away for an hour on what looked like a very specialised job. Hats off to Auto Windscreens!

Result: one new windscreen, one delighted customer!
