Not everyone choice for 1969, but it was mine. I sold it to a friend who now lives in Canada and during a “FaceTime” yesterday he asked if I had a photo of the Hillman Imp we had both owned in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s, so I obliged with this one. At that time a Saloon Car Racing Driver I think called Bill McGovern won several British Saloon Car Championships in one. Mine had a 998cc Hartwell engine running Twin Webber Carburettors and a Janspeed Exhaust, and was a very quick car. I bought the car back from him when he went to Canada in 1975 and he has remained there he is now a Canadian citizen.
