Lebanese lunch
Here you are teacher, from my uncle. I have a young Lebanese woman in my class whose father is in Lebanon, waiting anxiously if he’ll be needed to defend his country. Lunch was a lovely surprise.
The DLR was on strike, an exhausting trip into Victoria, then circle line, then Jubilee Line and one stop on the DLR which did a tiny section of the route in the morning. I think my face said it all when one of the DLR staff asked if I was alright when I made it to the platform. A similar, frazzling journey home!
First world problems!
