Mrs. and Mr. House Finch perched at the top of this lilac tree to feast on dried seeds leftover from last spring’s purple blooms • I also caught a glimpse of a hawk swooping a blackbird on the lawn early this morning. Not long after there were two blackbirds on his tail as he flew to different trees trying to escape. He eventually left the area. It was odd no one made a sound through the whole ordeal, not even warning squawks that a predator was near • Unlike the hawk, I hope you’ve enjoyed a relaxing and peaceful Sunday • Another week is loading…!
