Sunday: Pickled Onions, 2nd Batch

The rain was all over the place today, starting from the sea north easterly, then into our back door easterly, then into our living room window south westerly/ westerly - MrD said it was still mild indoors, around 16°C without sunshine or any form of heating …

MrD had a nice time looking through all the photos The Sailor has been taking whilst on his business trip to Busan, Taipei, Hong Kong and Singapore … I was busy peeling pickling onions in the kitchen, I’d soaked them in warm water which I find makes peeling easier (I also had a clean cloth nearby soaked in cold water for dabbing my eyes … ) - when I’d finished, MrD came into the kitchen but couldn’t smell the onions … blames our recent Covid jab …!

ADDED LATER: we watched a Netflix film this evening, “The 355” - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8356942/ - which was excellent, full of action and lots of twists and turns …!!
