Christmas cake already

Four hours slow cooking for this boozy bit of Christmas cheer. Later it'll be wrapped in foil and fed brandy until Christmas. Looking at the weather outside, this seems like quite a sensible approach to life.
Quick trip to Worthing while the cake baked, a bit of tennis on TV, finally got M's new SIM card ordered. Why why why are these things so ridiculously complicated? WHY a credit check when new contract is less per month than existing? (I'm not expecting answers to these questions, by the way).
Cosy indoors, new David Holmes album and  we will be re-starting table tennis shortly..
