Spinner

Isn't a salad spinner the best invention ever?! Besides getting your lettuce good and dry, it also accumulates a ton of small droplets that for some reason, doesn't roll down like it does on a window.

The unexpected, unforecasted pre-dinner downpour swiftly washed all the sand I swept into the paver seams this morning to the bottom of the driveway, where I had to sweep it up while still wet for fear of it turning into hard pancakes due to the powder 'glue' in it. Sigh.

When asked by Mr. M why the soy crumble burrito tasted especially good this evening I couldn't think of a reason. Were the spices different? No. Did I put something else in it besides the usual? No, I make it the same every time; same lettuce, tomato, red onion, shredded cheddar, pinto beans, guac and sour cream. Was I sure the spices weren't different? Yes, I did NOTHING different........................................................................................................................

half an hour goes by, then I remember that I used a different soy crumble than before. Well that doesn't really count as DOING something different to the recipe.......?

Best thing about today; a two hour Skype with younger sister.
