Light in the gloom
The quince harvest is at an end now. It’s been an enormous crop this year (some of the individual quinces weigh over 500g each) and it’s always exciting to be picking them. I love being up in the tree discovering the golden fruit hidden by the leaves. However, much as I love their divine flavour they are a pain to prep as they’re hard to cut.Now though, I have various jars of jelly, poached quinces and chutney tucked away for the winter.
Happy Sunday dear blippers!
