Water Lilly

Today was a good day to relax some after a busy week! I was up first thing this morning and had my van serviced. I was able to get out for a couple of walks today.

On my first walk today I was able to enjoy the sunshine and a bit of nature. I stopped and fed a squirrel that came running up to my for peanuts. This squirrel was so bold that he took the peanut right from my hand and he was so close that to could pet him however decided that might not be a good idea. I continued my walk and got a couple of good shots of the water Lilly. Near the end of the walk I had a Red wing blackbird almost landed on my hand, instead he hovered just in front of my hand and grabbed a peanut. To bad I could not get a shot.

Tonight I took another walk around the lake around sunset. It was a beautiful evening. I like it so much that I can walk around the lake after 9 pm and it is still light out. Better enjoy it while it lasts 6 months form now it will be getting dark around 4:30 pm again
