Hallo world

I dropped in to see a friend on my afternoon dog walk. Two of the turkey eggs in the incubator in her living room had just hatched. One chick was hopping around and the other was still emerging from the shell.
These hardworking smallholders also rear ducks, geese and chickens, quail, rabbits and two sheep. The animals live contented outdoor lives and are fed on surplus food. All are destined eventually for the pot.

This is Christmas dinner in the making.
