A beeline to Wisley
Another trip to the Royal Horticultural Society Gardens at Wisley today. This time to meet with our youngest daughter, Adele, and her friends Gita and Monch and their young son Milo, whom we had not met before. Gita and Monch are from the Philipines and have been living and working in the UK for 12 years now. They enjoyed a "typical" English Christmas with us some years ago, which included the Boxing Day pram race in Windlesham, and they also came to Glastonbury with us in 2016. So it was good to see them again and to meet Milo for the first time. The structure in the main photo, which looks like a Marian invader from the War of the Worlds, is a log beehive. The extra photo is of the information board which describes how it works. Wisley was crowded today and it took an age to get out of the car park when it closed at 4.30pm.
