Alexandria, VA

Alexandria is on the Potomac river, a few miles south of Washington DC. The Old Town is full of beautiful old brick colonial buildings and tree-lined streets, which makes it all the more amazing that i didn't get a single decent blip of them.

Anyhow, here is my other half looking pleased that the most almighty thunder shower is over.

Can it really be that we've only been in the States for two weeks? I feel like I've been here a lifetime.

btw posting this on Saturday 15th June as I've been a bit preoccupied going places and doing stuff. Which means that I still have almost two weeks to go. Incredible.
