Just In There....

....she told him, just in there where she'd dropped her earing. Jack was used to being in tricky situations- largely due to the mishaps his family got into. But this one really took the biscuit.

'It should be easy to find' she had said, it's reflective, and has a little sharp stud to it' when he mentioned that having that in your mouth wouldn't be pleasant, she replied 'Oh come on! It'll just be a little prick!' 

'Try telling that to my tongue' had thought Jack. Ahead of him an entire 'feeder' full of bird seed. Luckily he knew the earing was very near the bottom, it was remarkable the stupid human who filled it up hadn't noticed anything shiny - mind you they had been concentrating on a shiny thing in their hand - a smartphone.

Jack had looked, and couldn't understand, he just spoke to mates and family face to face when the could, yet here this human was looking into a shiny device in his hand - weird.

Ignoring that memory, Jack plunged into the feeder head first and started searching, and was relieved when he finally found it.

The humans could keep their shiny devices, he had an earing, and an actual personal reaction to look forward too, and no doubt plenty of hugs and kisses :-)
