A morning to remember.
Tarn Hows
Woke at 6.30. Clear sky, still air, good forecast.
Mrs. K said “Its a Tarn Hows morning. “
I agreed enthusiastically.
Quick breakfast and Tai Chi. Clear first ice off the windscreen and off we go.
Plenty of space in the National Trust carpark.
The footpath round the Tarn is 2 miles long and takes oldies an hour with stops for photographs. There is a Tramper for hire for disabled people.
We have done it many times before and it is always a joy.
The reflected trees are on small islands. The fell in the background is Wetherlam which we last climbed together on
October 10th. 1992. I first climbed it in 1952.
A morning to remember.
