Coronation Regatta

Today I was a very wet and windswept spectator at a one off regatta where husband was competing in the senior men's doubles. (They came second)

This rowing and skiff regatta was held on a stretch of the Thames not usually opened to the public. Between the Victoria and Albert bridges. In fact the last regatta held here was in 1904. This weekend the Queen has allowed entry into the private grounds of the castle to hold the event.

The flag shows that she was in residence but apparently it is tomorrow that she will visit the regatta. You can't blame her for not visiting today. The weather was dreadful.
