Busy busy busy

This morning we went across town to a cheaper shop to buy more Christmas cake for Foodbank - we got 24.
Then into town to buy some more shoebox fillers for the packing party for Operation Christmas Child shoe box appeal tonight. People in church have been so generous and we’ve been able to buy loads of goodies and the money covers all of the postage too.
Quick bite of lunch in town then we did a practice walk of the walk we are leading next Tuesday. It’s an easy one in town and by the harbour but we needed to check the accessibility of some of the alleyways.
Home - and slept for an hour and a half, then down to church for the youth group. They are a lovely group of youngsters but still are youngsters so hard to keep on track - impossible at times! We had great fun though and they managed to pack 61 boxes - we were hoping for 40 so were delighted.
