The Manikia gorge waterfall walk

Finally managed to complete this wonderfully walk with 2 friends ( after an abortive attempt last year where we couldn't find the last bit of the path to reach the waterfall).It was quite challenging in places, involving scrambling over rocks and boulders in the river, but well worth the effort. At the waterfall we spent some time cooling off, swimming in the large pool. Perfect weather.
