We need a new hurdy-gurdy.

Much cleaning up today a week after the floods. Loads of mud and rubbish on the front drive and in our drains so it was a day to spruce things up a bit.
The morning was spent scraping the mud and grit out of the joints in the block paving and the afternoon was meant to be using the patio cleaner on the Karcher pressure washer. However the rotor didn’t want to rotate and a clean up of the bearings didn’t make it better. Using the lance just dug the sand out from between the blocks and made a mess, so we resorted to the handheld water hose and a stiff broom. Doesn’t look too bad and we even gave the road a hose down.
New hurdy-gurdy ordered today.
