10th November is one of the most significant days in the Turkish calendar as citizens celebrate and commemorate the life of the first president of the secular republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk , who died on this day in 1938 at 9.05am.   For so many years I would be involved in the school remembrance assembly, and it still feels odd - disrespectful even - that for me now, it is 'just another day' . So here, on this 'just another day' is just another picture of Rufus playing in the garden this afternoon when I got back from going to the Villa with Abdullah, to talk about some of the work that needs to be done there. Most especially planning the kitchen and the garden for many happy tomorrows.
