Yes, Christmas trees

Last Friday, I mentioned that I needed to start time tracking in one of the company’s systems and that I have created a calendar entry to remind me every Friday. This week, I decided that I ought to get into the habit of sending out a weekly summary of what I have been up to. Nobody’s asked for it but I think ‘working in the open’ is good practice. Today, I sent out the first one - which didn’t really say too much and mainly asked people for direction. I am determined not to give up on these even if nobody reads them.  So, today I updated the timesheet calendar reminder to prompt me to complete the timesheet and write my weeknotes. Seems like a decent way to end the working week.

I went out at lunchtime to pick-up a few things to go with our lunch. I don’t know how long they have been around but Waitrose has Christmas trees in stock. These were in store at lunchtime. I’m not ready to think about Christmas trees (although maybe I should).

We spent the evening on the sofa watching Friday night television.
