Christmas preparations
This morning E and I drove to the little theatre in Ilminster to watch a Christmas flower and decoration demonstration for charity. It was interesting how with just what is around you outside and with a little imagination and candles, the odd bright red flower here and there one can create something really seasonal. It was good to see how little oasis was used as flowers and greenery last longer in just water. Coffee and homemade cakes in the interval!
Afterwards we drove to Rose Mill on the outskirts of the town and had a light sandwich lunch in part of the old buildings by the river. Downstairs was a shop and an artist who drew the most amazing detailed drawings all in pencil.
C and her dog came to stay.
