St.Peters Church
J wanted to take her mini out for petrol and a little run, so I asked her to take me to Twineham for this blip of St.Peter's Church as I love old buildings.
St.Peters is early Tudor and reported to be the first brick built church in Sussex, built in 1516. It also has a thirteenth century font existing from the previous building dating back to 1226. There is a Quaker burial ground in the churchyard marked out by four stone corner posts which was used between 1694 and 1732.
One bonus of being home was being able to watch the British & Irish Lions win against the Warratahs, a week to go to the first test!
