Sunbathing Birdy

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

So I worked from home today but had another day of mainly meetings. Some of them worthwhile, some not so much. 

I subverted the not-so-much ones.

"OH MY GOD!" I said. 

"What? WHAT?" said Theo.

"THERE'S A BLACKBIRD SUNBATHING OUTSIDE MY BACK DOOR!" I told him.

"Oh wow," he replied. "Anyway, so we might need more work to refine the Opportunity stages and..."

"I'M SENDING YOU A PICTURE!" I said, putting today's blip in to the chat.

"I think we might need different stages depending upon the type of Opportun..."

"LOOK AT HIS HAPPY LITTLE FACE!"

I don't know Theo that well. But I feel like he understands me a little better now. Don't get me wrong. I do have priorities. It's just that mine are not necessarily those of other project team members. 

In the next three meetings I may have re-shared the picture of the sunbathing blackbird with other lucky team members. 

Shenée' understands. "LOOK AT HIS HAPPY LITTLE FACE!" she texted back when I sent it to her.
