Evidence of Rain

Today has been good. Lovely and quiet. Little Man and I had a lot of fun hanging out together. We went for a lovely walk, thankfully it wasn't raining, but there was a lot of evidence of the rain over the last few days. I had to share this photo with you. When there wasn't as much rain the area under the trees was dry, however, with the amount of rain we've been having over the last few days and weeks, the ground has become so heavily saturated with water that it just sits on the surface. A lady walked past just after I took this photo and she said that there was more rain due to come over the next few days and weeks.
