After the storm

We have now started our return home and our first stop is at the small fishing village of Vorupør on the west coast of Jutland.

We arrived in an amazing thunderstorm. While we were shopping in the local supermarket, it was struck by lightning and the power went off. We were stuck in the dark and unable to find our way out. It was also pouring with rain so as we struggled to park our motorhome in the campsite we weren't able to be too choosy about a spot.

When the storm cleared and the sun came out we found we had a fantastic view over some dunes to the sea.

I went out to try to catch a sunset but the clouds were too dense on the horizon. However, the North Sea was very dramatic with large waves crashing against this breakwater. The sky looked great too.

This campsite has totally free WiFi so I hope to be able to catch up with some commenting. No passwords or complex logins needed - it just works. It's also fast. I've come to the conclusion that the quality of WiFi is in inverse proportion to the cost.
