Victoria Public Baths, Leith

George Simpson designed the Victoria Public Baths in Leith in a red sandstone Renaissance style. When they openend in 1896 it had individual baths, a recreational swimming pool and a 'steamie' for doing laundry.  I was right next door for a physio appointment. 

It was a beautiful sunny day so I enjoyed the walk up and down Leith Walk.
