Manchester bound ...........

This is the Arklow Rogue on her way to Manchester , according to the shipping info, she is carrying general cargo. I managed to get to the Cantilever bridge to ensure I got an overhead shot . This is the only static bridge in the area and it gets a lot of use at times like this. All the low level river bridges swing to allow the ship passage. As you can see , the bridge ahead is in the process of swinging. This is the one I use every morning to get to work . The Latchford Locks are just a little further ahead . Then the ship will pass under Thelwall Viaduct and onward into Manchester .
