War of the Worlds

For anyone who doesn't know War of the Worlds started with an alien invasion on Horsell Common Woking and this statue of one of the invading aliens is in the town centre marking this piece of history.

Whilst in Woking went to the theatre with my wife to see Sherlock Holmes. Luckily she was with me as it proved useful filling in the bits I missed whilst I was asleep. Well it was very dark in there.

Other point of note I visited the local camera shop to have a look at a possible new camera and whilst there is no reason why they shouldn't still be there do find myself smiling to see the same two salesmen behind the counter who helped me setup my colour darkroom over thirty years ago.

I'm looking at the Fuji x-e1 if anyone could offer any user experience of this camera?

Now in Epsom visiting my son and Grandchildren and will catch up on Blips when I can.
