Waiting

Wednesday is bin day. We have a lovely bin man who has blue hair, the boys always wave hello to him. The winter schedule means the jin lorry is coming later than normal, which made for a later than intended school run today. On a side note, the husband asked blue haired bin lorry how far they walked / ran, they apparently average 15 miles a day! 

Youngestvwas in a cross country competition today. He told me his strategy this morning, so I wasn't surprised at his sub-optimal placing (start walking slowly, then walk a bit faster, sprint the last bit). He wasn't having anything  of the suggested alternative strategy of running from the start!
