Piazza Grande

Day 3 of our Tuscan holiday.

I started the day like the day before, a short walk and then a drive to do some landscape photography. Mostly grey weather with a couple of sunny moments. One shot from the morning in the extra #1.

Our day trip destination was Arezzo, which we had never visited before. The Piazza Grande was beautiful as was the Fortezza Medicea and the park next to it, but the streets were a bit quiet for a town of its size. The weather was grey and very windy, especially up in the fortress.

We drove back to Pienza via Monticchiello, where we walked a little while before sunset. A panorama from between Montepulciano and Monticchiello in extra #2.
