Went to Bassenthwaite this afternoon to see if my favourite tree was looking autumnal.  Its lost a lot of leaves and the remaining ones are still quite green.  Had a wander by the lake and in the woods.  I always like the autumn colours in the nearby village of Thornthwaite as per today's blip.
