Also known as sea holly or simply thistle. One of my flowers for my entry in the Cheshire show flower arranging competition. I am really quite excited about spending Sunday in a marquee in a field, playing with flowers. If you get chance come along , the show is open Tuesday and Wednesday, and it's fantastic.
