The way of the cross

Many thanks for the stars and hearts for my 12 years of blipping milestone yesterday. Today we climbed up from Joch by the way of the cross. The stations are along side the path until the final one at the highest point on the walk. There was even a little snow on Canigou. It was a pleasant circuit, only a little over eight  kilometres but with nearly 600 metres of climbing. We ate our lunch at the top. We were very lucky with the weather. It was sunny all day and we were able to strip off to t-shirts when not on the shadier paths. A journalist came to interview me about the bells a couple of weeks ago and I was able to listen to the podcast on local French radio. I noticed a couple of grammatical errors which were a bit cringeworthy but the recording was basically ok.
